Basswood

At least two species are presented. Tilia americana, and Tilia tomentosa, family Tiliaceae. Also called linden trees, they are excellent sources of nectar for honey bees. Basswood honey has a hint of mintiness near the end when you taste it, generally colored water white to slightly amber and will crystallize easier than other honey.
